Paws of Purpose™ shares the stories and real-life inspiration of our therapy dogs McKinley and Maverick, bringing messages of comfort, love, hope, faith, and purpose to children, families, and communities. Through stories, experiences, resources, and products, Paws of Purpose™ encourages others to discover the difference they can make in the lives of those around them.

The Gentle Leader 


Calm, loving, and empathetic, McKinley has a natural ability to bring comfort simply by being present. Her gentle spirit and patient nature help people feel safe, cared for, and loved. 

MAVERICK

The Joyful Companion 


Friendly, playful, and curious, Maverick brings energy and joy wherever he goes. His outgoing personality has a way of creating smiles, opening hearts, and helping people feel connected.

OUR PURPOSE

God gave every one of us a special purpose.

McKinley and Maverick's purpose is helping people feel loved. Through their work as therapy dogs, they remind us that making a difference does not always require something extraordinary. Sometimes it begins with simply being present, offering comfort, sharing kindness, or helping someone know they are not alone. 

Paws of Purpose™ was created to carry that message beyond their therapy visits. Through stories, books, experiences, resources, and products, McKinley and Maverick help children and families discover that each of us has gifts we can use to encourage others, serve our communities, and share God's love. 

You don't have to be big to make a difference. You just have to be willing to use the purpose God has given you. 

STORIES WITH PURPOSE

McKinley & Maverick Visit the Children's Hospital

The first book in the Paws of Purpose™ series follows McKinley and Maverick as they visit a children's hospital, bringing comfort, smiles, encouragement, and love to the children they meet along the way. 


 Inspired by the real-life work of McKinley and Maverick, the story helps children discover an important truth: God gives each of us a special purpose, and even simple acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone else's life.

Our goal is for Paws of Purpose™ to do more than tell stories about kindness and service. We want the mission itself to help create opportunities for comfort, hope, encouragement, and meaningful impact.
